Grzegorz Giertych made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Elias Argoitz sent off a good shot on target. The Estudiantes de América fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Estudiantes de América's Ezequiel Luke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jedrzej Buczko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The MKS Legion Częstochowa fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when MKS Legion Częstochowa's Tytus Ogrodowicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Grzegorz Giertych proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save MKS Legion Częstochowa from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Argoitz got free with Grzegorz Giertych in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Argoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Grzegorz Giertych made a huge save. In the 21st match minute, MKS Legion Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslaw Cichewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Ezequiel Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Giertych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Grzegorz Giertych got control of the ball when Elias Argoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grzegorz Giertych made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Argoitz in the 27th minute. Tytus Ogrodowicz's late challenge caught a Estudiantes de América's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tytus Ogrodowicz helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes MKS Legion Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Ogrodowicz. Grzegorz Giertych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Evarado, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Grzegorz Giertych was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melchor Evarado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 32 minute of play. Grzegorz Giertych was a little too slow when Isaias Cutberto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaias Cutberto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Grzegorz Giertych. That made the score 5-1 in the 39 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Ourente in the 43rd minute of play forced MKS Legion Częstochowa's goalkeeper Grzegorz Giertych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grzegorz Giertych made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Elias Argoitz sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Argoitz to make the kick off. Grzegorz Giertych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Argoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. MKS Legion Częstochowa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Cutberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Estudiantes de América's Lino Ekialde was substituted for Filiberto Ourente. If Bernardo Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grzegorz Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Argoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Elias Argoitz notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of MKS Legion Częstochowa's Grzegorz Giertych. Grzegorz Giertych was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grzegorz Giertych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Argoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Ado came free, but Grzegorz Giertych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Ekialde kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ezequiel Luke scored 8-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grzegorz Giertych, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lino Ekialde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Giertych having to interfere. Ezequiel Luke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grzegorz Giertych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Ekialde in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Estudiantes de América fully deserved thier win.
