Spectators: 46 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodrigo Altamirano got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Rodrigo Altamirano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Kert Roolaid with Karl Van Der Veecken as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 10 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Byström. Mikoláš Kulhánek made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rodrigo Altamirano however managed to control. In the 26th minute, Diego Simeone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Altamirano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Ranolfo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Kraig Fred managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Kraig Fred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronaldo de Moraes. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Soares in the 40th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vista Alegre FC booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Altamirano in the 42nd minute of play. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Altamirano in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kraig Fred to make the kick off. Rodrigo Altamirano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Ranolfo having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Ronaldo de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti was substituted for Kraig Fred. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Traian Blăniță replaced Cornelio Ruisko. The throw-in from Prospero Gabirel in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vista Alegre FC's Marco Soares. Ronaldo de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Rodrigo Altamirano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Ranolfo having to make a save. Vista Alegre FC's Dudu Magalhães was substituted for Natanael Koehler. Vista Alegre FC's Franklin Lima was substituted for Lex Nelis. Vista Alegre FC's Everardo Bidari got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Marinho in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 76th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estudiantes de América were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Vista Alegre FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximo Dei took the corner. Ronaldo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Marinho in the 87th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, Vista Alegre FC's Dudu Magalhães made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Ranolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Marinho in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Dudu Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
