In the 2nd match minute, AC Farsaebarca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Kisler to maneuver through the defense. Per Bønkel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Fogel in the 8th minute of play. Viggo Marvig kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, AC Farsaebarca's Lasse Kronhoff dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Lasse Kronhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Farsaebarca's supporters rose to their feet, but Lasse Kronhoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Ivarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viggo Marvig lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Per Bønkel had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Anton Lundström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Luis Gyldhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Ivarsson having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ingvar Granberg made the kick off in the second half. Per Bønkel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Vallander in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Degerfors IF's zone, Luis Gyldhof stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Ivarsson came out of the goal and Luis Gyldhof tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of AC Farsaebarca booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Granberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Kisler charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredrik Kisler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fredrik Kisler kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ingvar Vallander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Per Bønkel made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Kristian Fogel got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Granberg in the 67th minute of play forced AC Farsaebarca's goalkeeper Per Bønkel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Degerfors IF's zone, Luis Gyldhof stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Ivarsson came out of the goal and Luis Gyldhof tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, AC Farsaebarca's goalkeeper Per Bønkel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Vallander. 78 minutes into the match, Ingvar Granberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Per Bønkel, 1-1. Per Bønkel made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ingvar Granberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Vallander to maneuver through the defense. Per Bønkel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. The AC Farsaebarca supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Degerfors IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Degerfors IF.
