Conny Rudkvist hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Guto Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute, one of Polly Magoo Juniors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Polly Magoo Juniors. Isac Wållander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Brodin came free, but Markus Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Brodin in the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristian Brodin made a kick off. After 57 minutes, Sten Vennerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polly Magoo Juniors and the Degerfors IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Polly Magoo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Isac Wållander. Kristian Brodin took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Fågel. Markus Fågel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 76 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Per Åberg came free, but Markus Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Gomes struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Markus Fågel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Degerfors IF. In the 88th minute, Sten Vennerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Polly Magoo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etienne Joubert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Fågel having to interfere. Degerfors IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
