Bartosz Luty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Barbosa in the 5th minute of the match. Bartosz Luty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Zé Pedro Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Iwan Wodaszak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giovani Salgado. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. The Montevideo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovani Salgado should have stopped the shot. Giovani Salgado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zenon Wawro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in QxQ Torun's zone, Zé Pedro Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartosz Luty came out of the goal and Zé Pedro Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dagoberto Loyola to make the kick off. When Szymon Para fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored QxQ Torun's protests and gave Szymon Para a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to QxQ Torun getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Szymon Para hit a great ball. With a little luck, QxQ Torun's Bartosz Luty got control of the ball when Zé Pedro Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giovani Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Wawro in the 57th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Wawro came free, but Giovani Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Renan Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Luty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 75th minute of the match Iwan Wodaszak completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Iwan Wodaszak a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 78th minute of the match, Dagoberto Loyola got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bartosz Luty was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Witalis Madej hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Alfredão Maia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartosz Luty showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Wasyl Adamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartosz Luty made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Alfredão Maia sent off a good shot on target.
