The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Lopes got free with Maurino Serena in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 77th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erlantz Bermejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
