Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Torbjörn Nilsson made the kick off and thus started the match. Torbjörn Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balthazar Bär blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laze Gjoka having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Balthazar Bär had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laze Gjoka. U21 Albania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Balthazar Bär was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Ronnie Meck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match, Balthazar Bär tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laze Gjoka saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balthazar Bär got free with Laze Gjoka in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luftëtar Myftiu during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luftëtar Myftiu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Laze Gjoka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Nilsson in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, one of U21 Albania:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for U21 Sweden. Torbjörn Nilsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Laze Gjoka. 2-0. Bajram Olldashi lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 47 played minutes U21 Albania got a freekick which was hit by Bajram Olldashi. Torbjörn Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frai Shehu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronnie Meck made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Luftëtar Myftiu sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's Balthazar Bär sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laze Gjoka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Balthazar Bär scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laze Gjoka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Balthazar Bär might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laze Gjoka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balthazar Bär ran back to his position shaking his head. Laze Gjoka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balthazar Bär, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Albania's Laze Gjoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balthazar Bär in the 66th minute of play. Laze Gjoka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balthazar Bär in the 68th minute of the match. U21 Sweden made a substitution. Dan Mårtensson replaced Henning Gulliksson. U21 Sweden's Sven-Olof Hamberg was substituted for Torbjörn Nilsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Nickov in the 81st minute of play forced U21 Albania's goalkeeper Laze Gjoka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Minir Noli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronnie Meck having to make a save. Minir Noli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ronnie Meck made a huge save. Ronnie Meck came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Albania's Minir Noli. But to his dismay, Minir Noli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Laze Gjoka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Nickov, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ivar Nickov struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Laze Gjoka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Sweden. After some careless play in the U21 Albania defense, Ivar Nickov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laze Gjoka. The U21 Albania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laze Gjoka should have stopped the shot. In the 97th match minute, U21 Albania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristi Abeshi to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that U21 Sweden were the better team. U21 Sweden's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
