Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Resistencia Tayrona FC's Sydney Baiano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Resistencia Tayrona FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Willie Colon scored to the left of an out of position Cyprian Mitus, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Willie Colon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cyprian Mitus. That made the score 2-0 in the 5 minute of play. Willie Colon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Cyprian Mitus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 12th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kelemen Astonzas went to the cornerflag to take it. Kelemen Astonzas made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that Resistencia Tayrona FC's Cyprian Mitus managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 13th minute, Barto Gayoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 16 minutes into the match, Willie Colon notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Resistencia Tayrona FC's Cyprian Mitus. Cyprian Mitus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manel Fonelleda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Mitus having to interfere. Cyprian Mitus was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Willie Colon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Willie Colon really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Barto Gayoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cyprian Mitus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Colombia booed when Resistencia Tayrona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ospetsu Villagarcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Willie Colon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Mitus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyprian Mitus was a little too slow when Willie Colon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 7-0. Cyprian Mitus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willie Colon went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Barto Gayoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Barto Gayoso sped through Resistencia Tayrona FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cyprian Mitus. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Mitus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Cyprian Mitus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willie Colon in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Leonides Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia made a substitution. Mauricio Corral replaced Willie Colon. Leonides Rioja kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Colombia's Zaquiel Puredo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Christiano Ronaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Salbatore Yunibarbia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resistencia Tayrona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. In the 71st minute, Salbatore Yunibarbia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyprian Mitus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo in the 73rd minute of play. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kelemen Astonzas in the 74th minute. Christiano Ronaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cyprian Mitus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christiano Ronaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cyprian Mitus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Taurino Hernaiz was substituted for Sydney Baiano. Colombia's Ivon Trullols managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zernin Losa in the 80 minute of the game. When Salbatore Yunibarbia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. In the 81st minute, Salbatore Yunibarbia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Cyprian Mitus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 84th minute of play. Cyprian Mitus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christiano Ronaldo's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Christiano Ronaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 89 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Nerio Jacome. Cyprian Mitus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo in the 91st minute of play. When Christiano Ronaldo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiano Ronaldo couldn't finish the play. Christiano Ronaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cyprian Mitus having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 96th minute of play forced Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Mitus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
