With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Ibanez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florencio Villegas took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Ibanez. Hilario Ibanez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 7 minutes, Florencio Villegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavaliers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Villegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute of the match Cavaliers FC got a corner. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adolfo Umea ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Cavaliers FC's corner Adolfo Umea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hilario Ibanez quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Acosta. Cavaliers FC's Florencio Villegas got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hilario Ibanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Villegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Cornelio Villegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Seme in the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cavaliers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oscar Belo was slow to take the kick. During this time A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's players had a chance to rest. After 45 minutes of play, Cavaliers FC's Florencio Villegas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Ibanez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Beto Acosta made the kick off in the second half. Florencio Villegas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Ibanez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Cornelio Villegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Tino in the 58th minute of the match. Florencio Villegas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hilario Ibanez made a huge save. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Froilan Otsando was substituted for Eugenio Baristo. Cavaliers FC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adolfo Umea took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Severo Tohias got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 65 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florencio Villegas in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Ibanez saved A.F Cuervos Azulgranas from getting behind. In the 69th match minute, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Cositorto to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Cositorto kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Isaias Eladio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilario Ibanez skillfully saved the ball. When Severo Tohias fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavaliers FC's protests and gave Severo Tohias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Florencio Villegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilario Ibanez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Hilario Ibanez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save A.F Cuervos Azulgranas from getting a goal against them. Hilario Ibanez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Leonardo Cositorto made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cavaliers FC's Severo Tohias. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Florencio Villegas 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Hong Fei in the 87th minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
