Feliciano Mercurio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Araçá F. C. from getting a goal against them. Jefferson de Moraes came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Batán's Fernando Dantae. But to his dismay, Fernando Dantae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Feliciano Mercurio came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jefferson de Moraes could save by the left post. In the 13th minute, Feliciano Mercurio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jefferson de Moraes. The goal made the score 2-0. 16 minutes into the game, Fernando Dantae lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Jefferson de Moraes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Mercurio got free with Jefferson de Moraes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Araçá F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Mercurio came free, but Jefferson de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Cristoforo Di Ruscio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Mercurio in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes got control of the ball when Feliciano Mercurio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Di Ruscio lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Jefferson de Moraes. Fernando Dantae in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jefferson de Moraes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 47 minutes into the match, Feliciano Mercurio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson de Moraes. Araçá F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Mercurio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nilmar Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes Araçá F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Negri. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Mercurio in the 67th minute of play forced Araçá F. C.'s goalkeeper Jefferson de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Nogueira in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Araçá F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Mercurio came free, but Jefferson de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jefferson de Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Jefferson de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Acácio Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the Araçá F. C. defense, Acácio Nogueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jefferson de Moraes. The Araçá F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson de Moraes should have stopped the shot. After 81 played minutes Araçá F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Luz. Angelo Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Araçá F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Infante came free, but Jefferson de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jefferson de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Nogueira in the 88th minute of the match. Jefferson de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Goiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of AC Batán booed when Araçá F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Acácio Nogueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jefferson de Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. The supporters of Araçá F. C. booed when AC Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that AC Batán were the better team. AC Batán's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
