Nilmar Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, José Carlos Meirelles notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Milagro Sobre Césped's Carlos Van Lint. Carlos Van Lint was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Van Lint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Carlos Meirelles got free with Carlos Van Lint in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Vieira in the 32nd minute of play forced Milagro Sobre Césped's goalkeeper Carlos Van Lint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joélson de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carlos Van Lint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Araçá F. C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Angelo Luz hit a great ball. Nilmar Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Van Lint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson de Sousa in the 47th minute of play forced Milagro Sobre Césped's goalkeeper Carlos Van Lint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Joélson de Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Van Lint. Milagro Sobre Césped's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joélson de Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilmar Vieira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Milagro Sobre Césped's zone, Joélson de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Van Lint came out of the goal and Joélson de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If José Carlos Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Israel Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Araçá F. C.'s João Breckenfeld was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Van Lint in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nilmar Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Van Lint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Nilmar Vieira took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Van Lint. Carlos Van Lint dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 68 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Carlos Van Lint was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Milagro Sobre Césped's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Vieira came free, but Carlos Van Lint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Nilmar Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Van Lint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milagro Sobre Césped's Carlos Van Lint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson de Sousa in the 82nd minute of play. Araçá F. C. made a substitution. Paulo José de Andrade replaced Leonel Leão. Araçá F. C. made a substitution. Javier Abalos replaced José Carlos Meirelles. Milagro Sobre Césped's Carlos Van Lint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Vieira in the 91st minute of play. Carlos Van Lint came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Araçá F. C.'s Nilmar Vieira. But to his dismay, Nilmar Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Araçá F. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
