Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Çağdaş Yuvakuran got the match started through his kick off. Ovidiu Adrian was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Oscar Bergum capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oscar Bergum really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 16th match minute, Sagene IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Bergum to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Oscar Bergum got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Poli Timisoara were awarded a corner. Horst-Peter Unterberger went to the cornerflag to take it. After 22 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Bal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Bergum got free with Ovidiu Adrian in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Çağdaş Yuvakuran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poli Timisoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Çağdaş Yuvakuran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Sommerseth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiger De Hond took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Sommerseth. William Sommerseth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Ovidiu Adrian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Bergum. In the 40th minute, Ovidiu Bal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Sommerseth was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 45th match minute, Poli Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adib Ovi to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Adrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karsten Karlsen in the 47th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Christer Claussen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karsten Karlsen to make the kick off. Oscar Bergum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Adrian having to interfere. Oscar Bergum struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ovidiu Adrian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sagene IF. The supporters of Poli Timisoara booed when Sagene IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Knutsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ovidiu Bal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiger De Hond in the 67th minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper William Sommerseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Sagene IF's Oscar Bergum made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidiu Adrian was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Çağdaş Yuvakuran in the 76th minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper William Sommerseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Bergum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Adrian having to interfere. Sagene IF's William Sommerseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Sagene IF from getting a goal against them. Çağdaş Yuvakuran struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. William Sommerseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poli Timisoara. In the 92nd minute of the match Poli Timisoara got a corner. Sagene IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horst-Peter Unterberger ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Tiger De Hond managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
