The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Petre Blajovici made a precise shot to the right of Tadeusz Frenzel. VUKOVAR 91's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Damian Kornecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Frenzel having to interfere. Eduard Kovalchuk hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Damian Kornecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Frenzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Petre Blajovici was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 45th minute Nacho Kirkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Frenzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

VUKOVAR 91's Tadeusz Frenzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuriy Andronikov in the 50th minute of play. Tadeusz Frenzel came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Крылья Советов's Yuriy Andronikov. But to his dismay, Yuriy Andronikov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 55 minutes VUKOVAR 91's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Kornecki who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Крылья Советов's Petre Blajovici getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. VUKOVAR 91's Velimir Draganov was substituted for Svetomir Kuzmanovski. 59 minutes into the match, Petre Blajovici notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of VUKOVAR 91's Tadeusz Frenzel. Tadeusz Frenzel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Yuriy Andronikov came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Крылья Советов fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuriy Andronikov couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Damian Kornecki made a precise shot to the right of Tadeusz Frenzel. VUKOVAR 91's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İsmail Hakkı Tamerk in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeusz Frenzel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 minutes of play, Крылья Советов's Damian Kornecki made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeusz Frenzel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute of the match Крылья Советов got a corner. VUKOVAR 91's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Kornecki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Damian Kornecki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VUKOVAR 91's Tadeusz Frenzel did a great save. The Крылья Советов fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Крылья Советов's Yuriy Andronikov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tadeusz Frenzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Blajovici in the 79th minute of the match. Tadeusz Frenzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Blajovici in the 79th minute of play. Mariusz Marud hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Petre Blajovici scored 9-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeusz Frenzel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Blajovici in the 84th minute of play forced VUKOVAR 91's goalkeeper Tadeusz Frenzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, VUKOVAR 91's goal looked a bit too open when Yuriy Andronikov came free, but Tadeusz Frenzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeusz Frenzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuriy Andronikov in the 90th minute of the match. Tadeusz Frenzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Kornecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Крылья Советов had played much better football throughout.
