After a defensive mix-up in VUKOVAR 91's zone, Erkand Ziberi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Frenzel came out of the goal and Erkand Ziberi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. COWBOYS's Viktor Urgovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lurtim Gocevski in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lurtim Gocevski in the 7th minute of play forced COWBOYS's goalkeeper Viktor Urgovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Urgovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Villaescusa went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lazar Kirilov during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tase Cvetkovič in the 19th minute of play forced COWBOYS's goalkeeper Viktor Urgovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Urgovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tase Cvetkovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Erkand Ziberi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Frenzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Urgovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tase Cvetkovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Eşref Kayraalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Urgovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariusz Marud scored 3-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viktor Urgovski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
