Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Bertran in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Ereinotz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erubiel Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lili Oddang kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Chacarita Jrs's Erubiel Manni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Chacarita Jrs from getting a goal against them. Severo Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Bertran in the 23rd minute of play. Lili Oddang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Erubiel Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Izydor Wodaszak struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Severo Ereinotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacarita Jrs. In the 34th minute Epifanio Bertran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Ereinotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Erubiel Manni threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lili Oddang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 41st minute of the match EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB got a corner. Chacarita Jrs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafa Blasco ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's corner Rafa Blasco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erubiel Manni quite easily take care of the ball. If Epifanio Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lili Oddang made a kick off. Erubiel Manni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lili Oddang in the 53rd minute of the match. The Chacarita Jrs fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Chacarita Jrs's Epifanio Bertran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
