The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Pfeffermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Ulbricht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Erik Sörman, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Hubert Ulbricht acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sven-Edvin Björklund. Sven-Edvin Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Reinhold Jensen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Brandin. FC Snipers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinhold Jensen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Emanuel Brandin came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Herrenberg F.C.'s Burkhard Bieberstein. But to his dismay, Burkhard Bieberstein quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Kullgren in the 31st minute of play forced Herrenberg F.C.'s goalkeeper Hubert Ulbricht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goal looked a bit too open when Burkhard Bieberstein came free, but Emanuel Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Mathias Pfeffermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Brandin. Emanuel Brandin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Burkhard Bieberstein went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

In the 55th minute, Reinhold Jensen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Brandin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Emanuel Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burkhard Bieberstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burkhard Bieberstein scored 0-7 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Brandin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinhold Jensen during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Snipers booed when Herrenberg F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhold Jensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Pfeffermann got free with Emanuel Brandin in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 85 played minutes FC Snipers got a freekick which was hit by Arman Bremming. Burkhard Bieberstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Pettersson kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The FC Snipers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Herrenberg F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
