Robert Augustyniak started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ganga Banga in the 4th minute of play forced La Vieja Guardia Jrs's goalkeeper Apolo Chica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zielonka Gdansk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wasyl Lewicki in the 5th minute. After 10 played minutes Zielonka Gdansk got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Lewicki. 12 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Jan Tomaszewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matxin Maliaño. After having played for 16 minutes, Alex Pedrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Pedrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matxin Maliaño's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan Tomaszewski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Matxin Maliaño in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan Tomaszewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Aare Lätti fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Vieja Guardia Jrs's protests and gave Aare Lätti a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zielonka Gdansk booed when La Vieja Guardia Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aare Lätti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Zielonka Gdansk's Wasyl Lewicki tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Zielonka Gdansk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benigno Negral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of La Vieja Guardia Jrs booed when Zielonka Gdansk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ganga Banga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aare Lätti kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Apolo Chica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Pyrzyce's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 42nd minute Robert Augustyniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Chica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of La Vieja Guardia Jrs booed when Zielonka Gdansk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ganga Banga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Matxin Maliaño managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Matxin Maliaño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Tomaszewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matxin Maliaño to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Matxin Maliaño came free, but Jan Tomaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Apolo Chica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ganga Banga in the 58th minute of play. Apolo Chica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ganga Banga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Tomaszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Pedrera in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Curcio Caldevila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes La Vieja Guardia Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Curcio Caldevila. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Alberto Camudio managed to work through Zielonka Gdansk's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alberto Camudio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Alberto Camudio in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zielonka Gdansk's goalie prevented a goal. Apolo Chica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ganga Banga in the 83rd minute. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Apolo Chica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save La Vieja Guardia Jrs from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Zielonka Gdansk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Vieja Guardia Jrs:s goal. Alberto Camudio shot the penalty kick right outside the post. A hard shot 98 in the game by Qiu Ling Lang from a close distance when the talented Apolo Chica managed to make a qualified save. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's players were relieved. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zielonka Gdansk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
