Zielonka Gdansk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zbigniew Wicherek in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute, Korneliusz Frankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Sith Lords's Pawel Modrzewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleksander Nakonieczny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sith Lords's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marek Balkiewicz's late challenge caught a Zielonka Gdansk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marek Balkiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Sith Lords was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Balkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Jaroslaw Fiszer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Slawomir Wawrukiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pawel Modrzewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyprian Kissel during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kazimierz Chludzinski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Zielonka Gdansk booed when Sith Lords was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Kilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaroslaw Fiszer couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Zielonka Gdansk's Aleksander Nakonieczny got control of the ball when Robert Czerwinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miromir Madajczyk hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sith Lords had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
