Humberto Carrillo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrialito AFC's Aquiles Beat. But to his dismay, Aquiles Beat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Humberto Carrillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Hustaz in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Barrialito AFC got a corner. The Blues FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aquiles Beat ran over to the corner to take the kick. Barrialito AFC's Cecilio Rosio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Humberto Carrillo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ulpiano Sánchez charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulpiano Sánchez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, The Blues FC's Ulpiano Sánchez got a free kick in the 28th minute. Manuel Ramírez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Carrillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Aquiles Beat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Carrillo. Aquiles Beat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Humberto Carrillo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrialito AFC's Aquiles Beat. But to his dismay, Aquiles Beat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Humberto Carrillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Beat, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Humberto Carrillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Txordon in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Beat in the 54th minute of play forced The Blues FC's goalkeeper Humberto Carrillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when The Blues FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Arauz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Pablo Fernández hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Blues FC's goalkeeper Humberto Carrillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Beat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Carrillo was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Humberto Carrillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslav Klöser's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes The Blues FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Mota. Aquiles Beat took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Carrillo. Humberto Carrillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Barrialito AFC's Pedro Salvino was substituted for Cecilio Rosio. 73 minutes into the match, Conrado Txordon notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of The Blues FC's Humberto Carrillo. Humberto Carrillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barrialito AFC's Natalio Bieito was substituted for Conrado Txordon. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Beat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Carrillo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Aquiles Beat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Carrillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes The Blues FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aquiles Beat who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of The Blues FC's goalie and right to Cipriano Hustaz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. The Blues FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 87th match minute, The Blues FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulpiano Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 89 minutes, Natalio Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrialito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Bieito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Bieito in the 93rd minute of play forced The Blues FC's goalkeeper Humberto Carrillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
