After a rather tough play, Barrialito AFC's Lucas Brais got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Carabata Groove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Socorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jeremias Neron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carabata Groove's Emilio Machado got a free kick in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Txema came free, but Jeremias Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Carabata Groove booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Blai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Tiburcio Paublo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Gaspard was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 26th minute, Melquiades Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Tiburcio Paublo made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Gaspard. Barrialito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of Carabata Groove booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Montrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Isadore, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jeremias Neron came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrialito AFC's Fabricio Flores. But to his dismay, Fabricio Flores quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Fabricio Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jeremias Neron made a huge save. Paulino Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Carabata Groove were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jugala Efraim was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Omero in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Gaspard saved Barrialito AFC from getting behind. After 56 minutes of play, Barrialito AFC's Teodosio Txema made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Neron was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulino Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Paublo in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Luisito Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Carabata Groove booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Blai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Tiburcio Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Arturo Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carabata Groove's Jeremias Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Socorro in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Nereo Ihazintu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Gaspard was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Fabricio Flores took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Neron. Jeremias Neron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. In the 96th minute, Tiburcio Paublo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulino Gaspard. The goal made the score 3-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carabata Groove eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
