River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert Tobaczewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Artemio Filipo might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Izydor Nowakowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Filipo ran back to his position shaking his head. Rene Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Tobaczewski in the 36th minute of the match. Izydor Nowakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of Galaxy Team U18 booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Bide didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxy Team U18's zone, Raul Goyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Izydor Nowakowski came out of the goal and Raul Goyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The River Plate fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when River Plate's 冯岩默 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 80 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's goal looked a bit too open when 冯岩默 came free, but Izydor Nowakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
