FC Germania München's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. C&H 1964's Faustino Viñambre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save C&H 1964 from getting a goal against them. Richard Mühsam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nerio Trincado went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute Nerio Trincado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Mühsam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karsten Zentner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino Viñambre having to make a save. Karsten Zentner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Faustino Viñambre made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Ahmet Orhan İlbaşı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 35 in the game by Karsten Zentner from a close distance when the talented Faustino Viñambre managed to make a qualified save. C&H 1964's players were relieved. In the 38th minute, Nerio Trincado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C&H 1964 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Noel Hägele's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Viñambre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Hector Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

FC Germania München's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karsten Zentner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustino Viñambre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karsten Zentner's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, C&H 1964's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Zentner came free, but Faustino Viñambre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match FC Germania München got a corner. C&H 1964's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raitis Porītis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to FC Germania München's Noel Hägele getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Cristian Garnelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C&H 1964's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Garnelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Germania München's Hector Pedroso pulled a muscle in his back after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nerio Trincado during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Germania München's Attila Schmans was substituted for Hector Pedroso. After a rather tough play, C&H 1964's Nerio Trincado got a free kick in the 87th minute. Karsten Zentner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Faustino Viñambre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Karsten Zentner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Viñambre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karsten Zentner took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustino Viñambre. Faustino Viñambre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the C&H 1964 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Germania München.
