Los Patanes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Ledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Kivimaki FC's goalkeeper Velasco Ocaña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Rumaldo. After 10 minutes, Rigoberto Arnas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Patanes and the Kivimaki FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Rigoberto Arnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinícius Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ledo in the 12th minute of play. Kivimaki FC's Velasco Ocaña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Kivimaki FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Rumaldo got free with Velasco Ocaña in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinícius Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey Merino, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute Joey Merino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinícius Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cutberto Dorado in the 30th minute of play. Los Patanes's Vinícius Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joey Merino in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Kivimaki FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gaizka Rallo hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Cutberto Dorado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinícius Bueno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolando Rumaldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Arnas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kivimaki FC's Alfredo Ledo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cutberto Dorado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kivimaki FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cutberto Dorado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinícius Bueno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joey Merinos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Vinícius Bueno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Kivimaki FC's Joey Merino, in the 58th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Kivimaki FC. Joey Merino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Vinícius Bueno made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Los Patanes's goal looked a bit too open when Cutberto Dorado came free, but Vinícius Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Alfredo Ledo could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Vinícius Bueno however easily saved by the left post. After 70 minutes of play, Kivimaki FC's Alfredo Ledo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinícius Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Velasco Ocaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The Los Patanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinícius Bueno should have stopped the shot. Kivimaki FC's Primo Quijana was substituted for Joey Merino. 87 minutes into the game, Primo Quijana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Vinícius Bueno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vinícius Bueno made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Primo Quijana sent off a good shot on target. Vinícius Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ledo in the 95th minute of play. Kivimaki FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
