Fabio Stulz took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Minas Koborozos. Minas Koborozos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alex Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikiforos Charidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Stefanos Chatzipanagis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aris Katramados in the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as RODOS F.C.'s Stamatis Kolitiris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alex Olsson. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. Fabian Todeschini's late challenge caught a RODOS F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Todeschini helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes FC Triesen got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Todeschini. Alex Olsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nikiforos Charidis's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Sotiris Kouropoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Sotiris Kouropoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Alex Olsson made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, FC Triesen's goal looked a bit too open when Nikiforos Charidis came free, but Alex Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Triesen's Alex Olsson got control of the ball when Stamatis Kolitiris tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

RODOS F.C.'s Tasos Kolokithopoulos was substituted for Sotiris Kouropoulos. In the 56th minute, Aris Katramados hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 minutes FC Triesen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Viktoras Daras who took care of the corner kick. RODOS F.C.'s Viktoras Daras was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alex Olsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 62nd match minute, FC Triesen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josy Rehak to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Triesen's Josy Rehak got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Tasos Kolokithopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RODOS F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tasos Kolokithopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aris Katramados in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Olsson saved FC Triesen from getting behind. Alex Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziantoniou Grigoratos in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Chatziantoniou Grigoratos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Olsson. FC Triesen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chatziantoniou Grigoratos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in RODOS F.C.'s zone, Lukas Dupuy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Minas Koborozos came out of the goal and Lukas Dupuy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Nikiforos Charidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RODOS F.C.'s Tasos Kolokithopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
