Célio Fontes started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Pipis Markomichalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Juvenal Sergipano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Omiros Karapapas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Célio Fontes scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omiros Karapapas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Alexis Kalafatidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RODOS F.C.'s Omiros Karapapas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lobo Zornoza in the 17th minute of play. After 22 minutes, Célio Fontes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. RODOS F.C.'s Omiros Karapapas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Lobo Zornoza notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of RODOS F.C.'s Omiros Karapapas. In the 40th minute, Célio Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juvenal Sergipano was a little too slow when Alexis Kalafatidis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-4. RODOS F.C. made a substitution. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The crowd rose to their feet as CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Célio Fontes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Omiros Karapapas. That made the score 1-5 after 59 minutes of play. When CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Lobo Zornoza in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Omiros Karapapas stood somewhat misplaced when Célio Fontes came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 68 minute. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE made a substitution. Clemente Zanussi replaced Thomás Borges. Brian Johnson might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omiros Karapapas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brian Johnson ran back to his position shaking his head. Brian Johnson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Célio Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Brian Johnson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Omiros Karapapas. That made the score 1-8 in the 82 minute of play. In the 86th minute, Célio Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Renos Palavos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Sergipano was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. A hard shot by Celso Tande from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Omiros Karapapas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Juvenal Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Kalafatidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 92 played minutes CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Amado Froila. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE made a substitution. José Paulo Almeida replaced Geovânio Galvão. A collision led to CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Amado Froila hit a great ball. Placido Fernado kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
