Flavius Pârâianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Boguslaw Waselewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Widzew Łódź's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Iordan came free, but Boguslaw Waselewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boguslaw Waselewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavius Pârâianu in the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Robert Gane threw the ball into play from the sideline. Widzew Łódź's Karol Cichocki quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, AC MiLaN's Iurie Chiriacescu got control of the ball when Bartlomiej Rybak tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Tiberiu Iordan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Boguslaw Waselewicz made a huge save. Tiberiu Iordan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Boguslaw Waselewicz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, AC MiLaN's Emil Văcărescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boguslaw Waselewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Bartlomiej Rybak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Iordan in the 65th minute of play forced Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Boguslaw Waselewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Văcărescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 66th playminute. When Bartlomiej Rybak came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Widzew Łódź fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartlomiej Rybak couldn't finish the play. Flavius Pârâianu took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boguslaw Waselewicz. Boguslaw Waselewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 73rd minute, Robert Gane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartlomiej Rybak struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Iurie Chiriacescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Widzew Łódź. After a rather tough play, Widzew Łódź's Kryspin Czerniejewski got a free kick in the 75th minute. Kryspin Czerniejewski hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Boguslaw Waselewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiberiu Iordan in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute, AC MiLaN's Filip Vlaicu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boguslaw Waselewicz. Boguslaw Waselewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Boguslaw Waselewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nae Ionescu in the 93rd minute. The supporters of AC MiLaN booed when Widzew Łódź was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Pierz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Widzew Łódź getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Stefan Pozorski hit a great ball.
