The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB defense, Luciano Pirro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Bermudez. The AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Bermudez should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Luciano Pirro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Bermudez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Racing Club's Luciano Pirro got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Graciano Fraga hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Luciano Pirro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pascual Bermudez. Luciano Pirro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. If Luciano Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pirro came free, but Pascual Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Luciano Pirro notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's Pascual Bermudez. Pascual Bermudez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute, Luciano Pirro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pascual Bermudez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Albino Millano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's Pascual Bermudez did a great save. Luciano Pirro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascual Bermudez having to make a save. Pascual Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Pirro in the 39th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Pascual Bermudez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pascual Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Pirro in the 46th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Luciano Pirro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pascual Bermudez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Pirro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Santana. 57 minutes into the game, Luciano Pirro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Pascual Bermudez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Pirro in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Bermudez saved AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. A collision led to AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Pompiliu Corcoveanu hit a great ball. In the 62nd match minute, AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Corcoveanu to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Pirro in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Pompiliu Corcoveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's Pascual Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Pirro in the 67th minute of play. Pascual Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Pirro in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Lano to maneuver through the defense. AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's Eusebio Dalmu was substituted for Zacarias Santana. AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's Aaron Stanislao was substituted for Paulo Oxarra. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ramiro Lano hit a great ball. Pascual Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Txomin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 82 minutes AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samuel Nevada who took care of the corner kick. Pascual Bermudez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Racing Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
