An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Frigo in the 29th minute of play forced Cañani OFF's goalkeeper Romulo Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 51 minutes, Alonzo Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cañani OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 52 played minutes Cañani OFF got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Faro. 54 minutes into the game, Bagui Oliver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RACING CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cañani OFF the free kick. A collision led to RACING CLUB getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Bagui Oliver hit a great ball. Dom Gamble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Otsoa having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Eustaquio Solorzano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cañani OFF's Alonzo Faro got a free kick in the 68th minute. Romulo Otsoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Pero in the 68th minute.
