The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bin Baresi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bin Baresi to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Khachatryan defense, Gasteiz Latorre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jermaine Richmond. The Khachatryan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jermaine Richmond should have stopped the shot. Gasteiz Latorre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jermaine Richmond having to interfere. In the 16th minute of the game Bin Baresi made a throw-in which Hu Wei Shu played forward. Gasteiz Latorre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Merlin Castro. Jermaine Richmond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gasteiz Latorre in the 31st minute of the match. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tigran Kirakosyan in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khachatryan's goalkeeper Jermaine Richmond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were awarded a corner. Gasteiz Latorre went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Deunoro Barbadillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Jermaine Richmond despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Del Manfredi charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Del Manfredi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 42 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hu Wei Shu. A hard shot 43 in the game by Merlin Castro from a close distance when the talented Jeremy Avellana managed to make a qualified save. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's players were relieved. Khachatryan's Jermaine Richmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Khachatryan's Jermaine Richmond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Khachatryan from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Khachatryan's Tigran Kirakosyan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Anthon Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jermaine Richmond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khachatryan's Zé Augusto Souza was substituted for Hu Wei Shu. The audience was convinced that Anthon Öberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jermaine Richmond was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Anthon Öberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Jermaine Richmond made a huge save. After 96 minutes of play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Anthon Öberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jermaine Richmond was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Dep. Soc. Rodo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
