Benno Volberg scored 1-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldo Helton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Frye hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Waldo Helton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Baladi in the 19th minute of play. Leon Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Paris in the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Dillon Galindo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Leon Tajo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the game, Flame Throwers's Dave Paris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Tajo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Angastaco AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mickey Velasco was slow to take the kick. During this time Flame Throwers's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Dave Paris managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Sam Norman's late challenge caught a Angastaco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sam Norman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Flame Throwers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Norman to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Flame Throwers's Dave Paris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Tajo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flame Throwers's Waldo Helton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benno Volberg in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Angastaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by 罗远洲. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Tajo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hristo Stoichkov kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickey Velasco in the 83rd minute of play forced Angastaco AFC's goalkeeper Leon Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Mathis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
