Eurico Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Bâru in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Achtung Babies's zone, Telmo Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurico Velloso came out of the goal and Telmo Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute Marco Löhr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Frantzes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor Mainer in the 13th minute of play. Eurico Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Bâru in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Nogueira in the 15th minute of play forced Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Telmo Nogueira got free with Eurico Velloso in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Bâru came free, but Eurico Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Héctor Mainer kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Marco Löhr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Isótopos V.M. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Bâru came free, but Eurico Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Löhr took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eurico Velloso. Eurico Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Isótopos V.M. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Domingo Oihenarte hit a great ball. Achtung Babies's Torsten Norberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Isótopos V.M.. Pastor Frantzes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Díaz in the 45th minute of play.

Pastor Frantzes made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Héctor Mainer sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Achtung Babies booed when Isótopos V.M. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Pastor Frantzes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isótopos V.M. made a substitution. Albeiro Usuriaga replaced Petru Bâru. Achtung Babies made a substitution. Kobi Usabiaga replaced Héctor Mainer. A collision led to Isótopos V.M. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Petru Bâru hit a great ball. Eurico Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taribo West in the 72nd minute of play. Eurico Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albeiro Usuriaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 83rd minute Fulgencio Matia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Albeiro Usuriaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isótopos V.M.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Albeiro Usuriaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isótopos V.M.'s Pastor Frantzes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kobi Usabiaga in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, Isótopos V.M.'s Pastor Frantzes got control of the ball when Enzo Díaz tried to sneak it across the goal line.
