After 11 played minutes, Lanzenkirchen's Steven Rahnefeld shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vladimiro Ceandro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lanzenkirchen reached it. The supporters of Lanzenkirchen booed when Achtung Babies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ganix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Ceandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Orthaus in the 13th minute of play. Hugo Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Leo-Jan Schuster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo-Jan Schuster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Ganix, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When Hugo Ganix came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Achtung Babies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Ganix couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Leckie during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vladimiro Ceandro came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanzenkirchen's Simon Dreher. But to his dismay, Simon Dreher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Hugo Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Leo-Jan Schuster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo-Jan Schuster stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Ganix's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Hugo Ganix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lanzenkirchen's Leo-Jan Schuster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robert Leckie got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The shot was stopped by Vladimiro Ceandro but with some difficulty. When Hans-Peter Pütz came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lanzenkirchen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Peter Pütz couldn't finish the play. Hugo Ganix scored 6-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo-Jan Schuster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Achtung Babies's Vladimiro Ceandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Peter Pütz in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Achtung Babies were the better team. Achtung Babies's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
