In the 3rd minute, Ali Nurettin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelito Martines was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, G de graafschap's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nurettin came free, but Marcelito Martines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Gallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Marcelito Martines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Johannes Nyhus managed to get in a good position for a shot. G de graafschap's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Nyhus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jalmari Mikkonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Nurettin took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelito Martines. Marcelito Martines dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. G de graafschap's Marcelito Martines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nurettin in the 20th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Cristian Gallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinner Cluj-Napoca and the G de graafschap players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Cristian Gallo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ali Nurettin took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelito Martines. Marcelito Martines dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind G de graafschap's goalkeeper Marcelito Martines, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, G de graafschap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Matos to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Petruț Mircescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelito Martines. G de graafschap's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petruț Mircescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Valcarcel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelito Martines narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Pinner Cluj-Napoca were awarded a corner. Cristian Gallo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Pinner Cluj-Napoca's corner Petruț Mircescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelito Martines quite easily take care of the ball. In the 57th minute Ali Nurettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Martines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Ali Nurettin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelito Martines. Ali Nurettin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 63rd minute, Ali Nurettin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Tordesillas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. G de graafschap's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinner Cluj-Napoca the free kick. After 67 played minutes G de graafschap got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Tordesillas. After 74 minutes of play, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelito Martines was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the game, Ali Nurettin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Marcelito Martines was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, G de graafschap's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nurettin came free, but Marcelito Martines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Ali Nurettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Martines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelito Martines. That made the score 0-12 after 92 minutes of play. Marcelito Martines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Nurettin in the 95th minute of the match. Pinner Cluj-Napoca played a much better game than G de graafschap and deserved their victory. The G de graafschap players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
