The audience was convinced that Sérgio Jacinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garrett Gladu was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Garrett Gladu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sérgio Jacinto was the one to do the kick off. Resita defense, Sérgio Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garrett Gladu. The C.S.M. Resita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garrett Gladu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Jacinto in the 63rd minute of play forced C.S.M. Resita's goalkeeper Garrett Gladu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes, Quincy Cahill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S.M. Resita and the Ekipa Damcia players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Sérgio Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sérgio Jacinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garrett Gladu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sérgio Jacinto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Sérgio Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ekipa Damcia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of C.S.M. Resita for a fine match.
