The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Gustavo Scarpa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville United - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Scarpa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Scarpa might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fryderyk Huk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Scarpa ran back to his position shaking his head. Fryderyk Huk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Scarpa in the 9th minute of the match. Fryderyk Huk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Scarpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Stefan Wawrukiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Gustavo Scarpa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fryderyk Huk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Don Simone kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Fryderyk Huk came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville United - FSCMZ's Gustavo Scarpa. But to his dismay, Gustavo Scarpa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fryderyk Huk was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Gustavo Scarpa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustavo Scarpa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Gustavo Scarpa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fryderyk Huk having to make a save. Fryderyk Huk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Scarpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match, Gustavo Scarpa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fryderyk Huk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. White Star Troopers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Gustavo Scarpa scored to the left of an out of position Fryderyk Huk, making the score, 4-0. Gustavo Scarpa struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fryderyk Huk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joinville United - FSCMZ. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Joinville United - FSCMZ's Tostão Montenegro was substituted for Silvério Quirino. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Scarpa to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludomil Zaremba during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, White Star Troopers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Zaremba to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, White Star Troopers's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Scarpa came free, but Fryderyk Huk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. White Star Troopers's Fryderyk Huk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Montenegro in the 56th minute of play. Fryderyk Huk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Montenegro in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Gustavo Scarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Huk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Francescoli came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Montenegro in the 64th minute of play forced White Star Troopers's goalkeeper Fryderyk Huk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fryderyk Huk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Francescoli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Borys Gruchacz made a huge save. In the 69th minute Stefan Wawrukiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Tostão Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fryderyk Huk. White Star Troopers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tostão Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Joinville United - FSCMZ made a substitution. Mané Lara replaced Gustavo Scarpa. White Star Troopers made a substitution. Witalis Wydrych replaced Daniel Majusiak. A collision led to White Star Troopers getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Adam Proca hit a great ball. White Star Troopers's Iwo Lepper was substituted for Stefan Wawrukiewicz. In the 79th minute, Adam Proca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tostão Montenegro succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. 89 minutes into the match, Maurício Donatello notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of White Star Troopers's Fryderyk Huk. Fryderyk Huk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the match, Mané Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fryderyk Huk. White Star Troopers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mané Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. White Star Troopers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
