An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsmen Ünlem in the 9th minute of play forced YıldırımFutbol Kulübü's goalkeeper Carlos Blai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Hüsmen Ünlem made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Blai. YıldırımFutbol Kulübü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Galatasaray A.Ş.'s Ingar Myklebust proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray A.Ş. from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurtuluş Sargan during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to YıldırımFutbol Kulübü getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Kurtuluş Sargan hit a great ball. Galatasaray A.Ş.'s Erberk Ortaç got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erberk Ortaç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Blai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Carlos Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsmen Ünlem in the 23rd minute of the match. Galatasaray A.Ş.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hıncal Kongur in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Hüsmen Ünlem almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but YıldırımFutbol Kulübü's Carlos Blai did a great save. In the 28th minute, Lisandro Quentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galatasaray A.Ş. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 31st minute, Süleyman Tanyeri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cengizhan Çakıroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlos Blai was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hüsmen Ünlem made a kick off. If Hüsmen Ünlem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Blai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hüsmen Ünlem's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Carlos Blai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsmen Ünlem in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of YıldırımFutbol Kulübü booed when Galatasaray A.Ş. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuzalp Ozan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Raimundo Herrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingar Myklebust. Galatasaray A.Ş.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Herrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Galatasaray A.Ş. fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Galatasaray A.Ş.'s Hüsmen Ünlem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlos Blai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erberk Ortaç in the 78th minute of play. Carlos Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsmen Ünlem in the 80th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Carlos Blai successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind YıldırımFutbol Kulübü's goalkeeper Carlos Blai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute Hüsmen Ünlem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Blai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Galatasaray A.Ş. were awarded a corner. Hıncal Kongur went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of YıldırımFutbol Kulübü's goalie and right to Lisandro Quentin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. YıldırımFutbol Kulübü's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Galatasaray A.Ş.'s Ingar Myklebust played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cengizhan Çakıroğlu in the 95th minute of play. Yavuzalp Ozan might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Blai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yavuzalp Ozan ran back to his position shaking his head. The YıldırımFutbol Kulübü fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Galatasaray A.Ş. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
