Emiliano Gabino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gugu de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Gabino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes in the game Mariano Tino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Teodoro James. During this time SS SuperSonics's players had a chance to rest.
