After 18 minutes, Marcial Dantel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL COCO and the I love u Messi players grew even worse after the yellow card. EL COCO's Artemio Bidun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lynn Paimboeuf in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Lynn Paimboeuf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lynn Paimboeuf in the 23rd minute of play forced EL COCO's goalkeeper Artemio Bidun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Hechter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Bidun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lynn Paimboeuf's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Lynn Paimboeuf scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Bidun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half I love u Messi were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Yoder in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Bidun saved EL COCO from getting behind. Ty Lebrun hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Marciano Macerio's late challenge caught a I love u Messi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Macerio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, EL COCO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Macerio to maneuver through the defense. When I love u Messi's Benjamin Yoder in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
