In the 6th minute Cássio Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 20 played minutes Jucazinho SC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Mesquita. Cipriano Mesquita lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Waldir Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Matorin in the 30th minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Vágner Arruda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galo do Cerrado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Bertassi in the 57th minute of play. Galo do Cerrado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jucazinho SC the free kick. The supporters of Jucazinho SC booed when Galo do Cerrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jânio Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Vágner Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Waldir Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Benjamin Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jucazinho SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Vágner Arruda scored to the left of an out of position Waldir Moraes, making the score, 0-7. Waldir Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galo do Cerrado's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
