In the 38th minute Dwayne Clement shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innocenzio Alcalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dwayne Clement charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dwayne Clement the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dwayne Clement hit a great ball. Rudolfo Cediel struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Winford Taylor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦. Winford Taylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gutierrre Olmedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Winford Taylor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gutierrre Olmedo in the 46th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shayne Hess during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shayne Hess kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Winford Taylor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Mikelats Albuerne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Winford Taylor came out of the goal and Mikelats Albuerne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
