Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xandro Sarasola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fix Zubiaur kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Lev Yashin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Farias. With a little luck, Conjunto Paisa's Lev Yashin got control of the ball when Nestor Varona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nestor Varonas short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Lev Yashin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hank Ula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Angel, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 37th minute Nestor Varona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xandro Sarasola in the 39th minute of play forced Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute of the match, Ulises Farias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lev Yashin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Dalmau Fidalgo fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s protests and gave Dalmau Fidalgo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Dalmau Fidalgo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Anthonio Zeppeli was substituted for Nestor Varona. With 65 minutes on the clock, Achraf Hakimi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦! Freddy Roig succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 67th playminute. Despite being the better team, Conjunto Paisa failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
