In the 22nd minute Domingos Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lefteris Perperidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to A.O Ligoudista getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Michalis Karsiotis hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Donato Toribio sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Lefteris Perperidis threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Donato Toribio this time. 29 minutes into the match, Arsenal Fc's Karsten Ineichen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lefteris Perperidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konstantinos Papadimakis in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romão Peseiro saved Arsenal Fc from getting behind. Vinicio Lander took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lefteris Perperidis. Lefteris Perperidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 70 minutes, Marios Loukanidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.O Ligoudista and the Arsenal Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lefteris Perperidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinicio Lander's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Lefteris Perperidis came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal Fc's Vinicio Lander. But to his dismay, Vinicio Lander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Vinicio Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Vinicio Lander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lefteris Perperidis was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The supporters of A.O Ligoudista booed when Arsenal Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Quinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arsenal Fc fans cheered their team off the field, for while A.O Ligoudista had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
