NiğdeBeşiktaş's Seçkin Kanber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Jesco in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alemdar Baykut in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Nuno saved DE LA SALLE from getting behind. A collision led to DE LA SALLE getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Feliciano Ur hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, NiğdeBeşiktaş's Orhan Eryavuz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Nuno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 33 minutes of play, NiğdeBeşiktaş's Alemdar Baykut made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Nuno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jesus Nuno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alemdar Baykut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the DE LA SALLE defense, Alemdar Baykut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Nuno. The DE LA SALLE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Nuno should have stopped the shot. Jesus Nuno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alemdar Baykut's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alemdar Baykut was the one to do the kick off. Yılmaz Gülerce struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Jesus Nuno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NiğdeBeşiktaş. With a little luck, DE LA SALLE's Jesus Nuno got control of the ball when Alemdar Baykut tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Nuno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhan Eryavuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Seçkin Kanber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Txurio in the 65th minute of the match. If Benito Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, DE LA SALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Mincho to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Millano in the 85th minute of play forced NiğdeBeşiktaş's goalkeeper Seçkin Kanber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to NiğdeBeşiktaş getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Hugó Lepe hit a great ball.
