When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Benito Belmiro sped through DE LA SALLE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesus Nuno. Jesus Nuno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Belmiro's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Belmiro in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Nuno saved DE LA SALLE from getting behind. Benito Belmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Belmiro in the 41st minute of play forced DE LA SALLE's goalkeeper Jesus Nuno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Belmiro in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Nuno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicente Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Millano got free with Celedonio Eguen in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Benito Hermelando made the kick off in the second half. Benito Belmiro succeeded in the game's 51st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Benito Belmiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesus Nuno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Belmiro went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Benito Belmiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jesus Nuno made a huge save. Feliciano Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Benito Belmiro took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesus Nuno. Jesus Nuno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Matheu City FC's Benito Belmiro got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Belmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jesus Nuno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Belmiro succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. When Aurelio Blanco came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Matheu City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Blanco couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, DE LA SALLE's goalkeeper Jesus Nuno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Blanco. Jesus Nuno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Belmiro in the 87th minute. When the match was over Matheu City FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DE LA SALLE throughout the match.
