Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) 5 minutes into the game, MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julian Drebit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Emanuel Blajovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's Bogdan Bucataru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Drebit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Falcão to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 14 minutes, Nicodim Orășan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIT Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicodim Orășan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ye Yi Yi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Marques in the 19th minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Emanuel Blajovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Caramarin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julian Drebit. Tiberiu Caramarin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 23rd minute Samuca Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Blajovan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ booed when MIT Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Orășan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Afonso Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Blajovan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MIT Craiova's Emanuel Blajovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Campidelis in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MIT Craiova's Bogdan Bucataru got a free kick in the 47th minute. Apolo Valdez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Blajovan. MIT Craiova's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tiberiu Caramarin made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Tiberiu Caramarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ye Yi Yi charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ye Yi Yi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julian Drebit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 65th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Cristiano Vidal in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MIT Craiova's David Tunander. After a rather tough play, MIT Craiova's David Tunander got a free kick in the 69th minute. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Ranko Canelas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emanuel Blajovan but with some difficulty. MIT Craiova made a substitution. Mihăiţă Ilarie replaced Bogdan Bucataru. MIT Craiova's David Tunander quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristiano Vidal, made in the 76th minute of the game. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Danilo Peres was substituted for Ranko Canelas. Tiberiu Caramarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Drebit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. A collision led to MIT Craiova getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Fabian Geantă hit a great ball. MIT Craiova's Florin Seremet was substituted for Aurel Buzea. After 90 played minutes MIT Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Geantă. Emanuel Blajovan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuca Campidelis in the 92nd minute.
