Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Niklas Bäck started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Gunnarsson in the 8th minute of play forced GS Tor Pignattara's goalkeeper Arif Oğuz Seyban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Buceceanu in the 9th minute of play forced Thames Ironworks FC's goalkeeper Dick Melander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick Melander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Buceceanu in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, GS Tor Pignattara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Di Nucci to maneuver through the defense. Torgny Forsman came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arif Oğuz Seyban could save by the left post. If Torgny Forsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dick Melander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Tejeido in the 22nd minute of play. GS Tor Pignattara's Arif Oğuz Seyban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save GS Tor Pignattara from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute of the match Galo Geromel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arif Oğuz Seyban showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thames Ironworks FC's Dick Melander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Buceceanu in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Valer Buceceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thames Ironworks FC's Dick Melander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Thames Ironworks FC's zone, Valer Buceceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dick Melander came out of the goal and Valer Buceceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Dick Melander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Tejeido, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Thames Ironworks FC's zone, Frederick Desforges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dick Melander came out of the goal and Frederick Desforges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thames Ironworks FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Faustino Tejeido scored to the left of an out of position Dick Melander, making the score, 0-1. Dick Melander made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Cosimo Petricca sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, GS Tor Pignattara's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Bäck came free, but Arif Oğuz Seyban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rikard Björkdahl was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. Yngve Wennerquist's late challenge caught a GS Tor Pignattara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yngve Wennerquist helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GS Tor Pignattara booed when Thames Ironworks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yngve Wennerquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Valer Buceceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Melander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torgny Forsman kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Fabio Di Nucci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dick Melander skillfully saved the ball. In the 87th match minute, GS Tor Pignattara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Di Nucci to maneuver through the defense. Torgny Forsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Oğuz Seyban having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valer Buceceanu in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dick Melander saved Thames Ironworks FC from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GS Tor Pignattara had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
