Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Ghițescu in the 9th minute of play. When Anselmo Siqueira fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Thierachern's protests and gave Anselmo Siqueira a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes FC Thierachern got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Siqueira. Stefan Lyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gernando Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Lyle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gernando Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Fred Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pavel Ghițescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ruy Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led to Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Fred Monteiro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Gernando Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Lyle. FC Thierachern's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ made a substitution. Luís Paulo do Nascimento replaced Eric Eftimescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Hagenbuch got free with Ruy Montenegro in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruy Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Hagenbuch's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Stefan Lyle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gernando Azevedo went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Anselmo Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fred Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, FC Thierachern's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Stefan Lyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Lyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Monteiro in the 88th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Fred Monteiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefan Lyle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 93 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Ghițescu came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
