Sinan Erzincanlı charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sinan Erzincanlı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Benficajuvestars booed when Küçükdere SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sinan Erzincanlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Küçükdere SK's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Vilas Boas came free, but Halis Secaattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Patrício made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürsel Eyüp in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Benficajuvestars's goal looked a bit too open when Mithat Adıvar came free, but Rui Patrício reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Patrício made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gürsel Eyüp in the 38th minute. Rui Patrício came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Küçükdere SK's Gürsel Eyüp. But to his dismay, Gürsel Eyüp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Salvador Vilas Boas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halis Secaattin having to interfere. Rob Van den Berch kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46thth minute of the game Gürsel Eyüp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Benficajuvestars's Rui Patrício was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Halis Secaattin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Vilas Boas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerry Nykvist to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute 魏常适 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halis Secaattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rob Van den Berch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halis Secaattin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Rui Patrício showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürsel Eyüp, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. It was beautiful to see Benficajuvestars's Jerry Nykvist in action when he in the 72nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 74 minutes into the game, Küçükdere SK's Gürsel Eyüp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Patrício made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 80th minute Gürsel Eyüp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Patrício saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Küçükdere SK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
