When Denver Phoenix came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Northland Vikings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denver Phoenix couldn't finish the play. Jorge Azenha hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Mathieu Verdeyen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ture Waller in the 22nd minute. Ian Stoffels scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mathieu Verdeyen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ian Stoffels received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mathieu Verdeyen came out and tried to block the shot, but Ian Stoffels slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 27th minute. Ture Waller took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathieu Verdeyen. Mathieu Verdeyen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 32ndth minute of the game Ian Stoffels who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kerkbrugge's Mathieu Verdeyen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ture Waller could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Mathieu Verdeyen however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Gerdberg in the 35th minute of play forced Kerkbrugge's goalkeeper Mathieu Verdeyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathieu Verdeyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Stoffels in the 36th minute of the match. Kerkbrugge's Mathieu Verdeyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Waller in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Ian Stoffels notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Kerkbrugge's Mathieu Verdeyen. Mathieu Verdeyen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Northland Vikings:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kerkbrugge:s goal. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Kerkbrugge. David Wuets stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benne Benneborg. 5-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 56 minutes, Ian Stoffels made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kerkbrugge's Mathieu Verdeyen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Kerkbrugge defense, Ture Waller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathieu Verdeyen. The Kerkbrugge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathieu Verdeyen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Stoffels in the 62nd minute of play forced Kerkbrugge's goalkeeper Mathieu Verdeyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Ture Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieu Verdeyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Northland Vikings's Ian Stoffels in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kerkbrugge's goalie prevented a goal. Mathieu Verdeyen came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Northland Vikings's Antonio Čolak. But to his dismay, Antonio Čolak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Northland Vikings made a substitution. Gao Peng Ran replaced Ian Stoffels. In the 75th minute, Gao Peng Ran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathieu Verdeyen was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Mathieu Verdeyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran in the 78th minute of play. If Ture Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kerkbrugge's Mathieu Verdeyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gao Peng Ran in the 80th minute of play. Mathieu Verdeyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Waller in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathieu Verdeyen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Gao Peng Ran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-1. Mathieu Verdeyen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonatan Gerdberg scored 12-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mathieu Verdeyen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the game, Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathieu Verdeyen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-1. 99 minutes into the game, Northland Vikings's Mateo Bizen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathieu Verdeyen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Northland Vikings fully deserved thier win.
