In the 26th minute Francesco Totti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Totti in the 27th minute of play forced Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes in the game Controller Serapio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kaj Björklund. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gao Peng Ran got free with Holger Vester in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Northland Vikings's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
